Beyond curating one of a kind outdoor adventure experiences you will never forget, Black Freedom Outfitters prides itself in being grounded in Values that reflect our deep commitment to people, communities, and the ENVIRONMENT.

Exploration: We invite personal and collective exploration of our environments, our identities, our geographies, and histories.

Respect and Connection to the Environment : We focus on deepening our connection to the earth, in being mindful of our consumption, and creating new narratives about our experiences in the outdoor adventure arena that creates a more equitable and accessible space.

Respect for the legacies of the land: We honor and amplify the legacies and histories of people and communities who have lived, worked, and sacrificed upon the land which we explore.

Support: We provide an environment of collective support, safety, and respect for ourselves and each other. We create a supportive space that encourages all skill levels and experiences to participate.

Leadership: With a focus on personal and collective responsibility, integrity, and accountability, we develop the skills and leadership of Black people as environmental stewards and tour leaders who are able to safely lead in the great outdoors.
